2018 | 02 Angel Street (Gaslight)

Angel Street (Gaslight)
Written by Patrick Hamilton, Directed by Laura Jackson

February 9 – 25, 2018

All appears tranquil in the Manningham’s home on Angel Street in 19th century London, but there’s more to this idyllic Victorian life than meets the eye– Mr. Manningham, is slowly driving his gentle, devoted wife, Bella, to the brink of insanity. Angel Street (aka, Gaslight) is one of the longest-running non-musicals in Broadway history, and has been adapted into two movies.

“As a creepshow, Patrick Hamilton’s Victorian melodrama remains close to the top of the class.” ~New York Times
