The Skin of Our Teeth
By Thornton Wilder
Directed by Meagan Reagle

April 20 – May 6, 2018

The ice age is upon us, the floods are coming, war is Inevitable. Join us in  suburban Excelsior, New Jersey, with The Antrobus family and the “Ancient and Honorable Order of Mammals, Subdivision Humans” as we travel through plagues, heat waves, deep freezes, pestilence, depressions & dozens of wars, while through it all, we keep moving forward. Thornton Wilder’s 1943 Pulitzer-Winning The Skin of Our Teeth is a hilarious, absurd ode to the “indestructibility of humanity,” and challenges nearly every established theatrical convention!

The Skin of Our Teeth hits the Acrosstown’s stage on Friday, April 20, and runs through May 6; Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm, and a special Thursday performance on May 3 at the Acrosstown Repertory Theater (619 South Main Street, Gainesville, FL, 32601, in the historic Baird Center across from Heartwood Soundstage and next door to Akira Wood).

Stick around for a complementary postmission (after-show) beverage, and meet our director, cast and crew!

There will also be a $5 preview performance on Thursday, April 19, cash-only at the door.

Purchase your tickets using a credit card or PayPal today: Tickets are $15 for the general public with a discount for seniors, students, veterans and active military and may be purchased below. A limited number of tickets are also available at the door thirty minutes before showtime.
