The next chapter of the ART is upon us! Join us for our first foray into nomadic theatre (note the different locations!) as we partner with the City of Gainesville to present Shakespeare in the Park: The Tempest.
The King of Naples and his company are wrecked in an enchanted storm stirred up by a vengeful Prospero, the betrayed Duke of Milan. His plot to marry his daughter to the king’s son is only the beginning of his plan to achieve justice. Spirits, islanders, nobles, and a couple of drunken fools all play their part in this tale of revenge, forgiveness, and magic.
