The ART receives General Program Support from the State of Florida, Division of Cultural Affairs, the City of Gainesville (we were ranked number two of all outside agencies applying for funding) and from Alachua County through the Community Arts Organizations. A portion of that funding comes from the Tourist Development Tax funded through the Alachua County Visitors and Convention Bureau. The ART also receives funding from the Underserved Arts Community Assistance program which is funded through the NEA. The ART has also received several grants from the Florida Humanities Council.
