Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic thriller, Jekyll & Hyde is the gripping musical tale of a brilliant mind gone horrifically awry, set to a powerful pop-rock score. In an attempt to cure his ailing father’s mental illness by separating good from evil in the human personality, talented physician Dr. Jekyll inadvertently creates an alternate personality of pure evil, Mr. Hyde, who wreaks murderous havoc on the city of London.

Auditions will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday & Monday, July 21 & 22, 2019, at the theater– 619 South Main Street in the Baird Hardware complex, next door to Akira Wood and across from Heartwood Soundstage. Callbacks will be at 8:00 pm on the second night.

Please prepare 16 bars of a musical number and bring sheet music. You may be asked to read scenes and dance for callbacks, so please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement.

The ART provides a safe place where people of all ages, genders, races, and beliefs can create unsafe theater– thinking people’s theatre– theater that transforms.

We continually respect, and challenge:

  • ourselves as actors, designers, artists and visionaries to achieve more,
