Submit to the Junior Night of Our Local Playwrights’ Showcase

  • Do you live in our near Gainesville, Florida?
  • Are you age 18 or under?
  • Have you written a short play (twenty minutes or less)?

If you answered “yes” to all three, you’re in the right place! (If you’re over 18 and would like to submit to our festival, please go to this page, instead!)

Please fill out the information below to submit your play to our festival. If your play is chosen, we will perform it as a staged reading with real, live actors at our annual Gainesville Homegrown Local Playwrights’ Showcase in May! Wow!

You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the director, so you can see the process, firsthand.

This year’s Junior performances will take place May 9th. We have a limited number of slots available, and participating shows will be decided by our Dramaturgy Committee, whose decisions are final.

Deadline for submissions for our 2020 Showcase is Saturday, February 29, 2020, so get crackin’, and good luck!
