Long ago, back before the Earth cooled, Susan Washington was a dance major at Florida State University — one result of her charmed upbringing in a ballet studio in Sarasota, Fla. Today, Susan is the mother of two talented performing artists, pianist and composer Jack Clarendon, currently serving in the U.S. Army, and actress and singer Molly Washington, currently attending Bucholz High School. For all of these reasons and more, Susan celebrates the value — and the necessity — of performing arts experiences for humans of all ages, including especially in our formative years.
